Vehicle Maintenance Employee of the Year

The Vehicle Maintenance Employee of the Year recognition program began in February 1989 to give employees the opportunity to select a co-worker who deserves special recognition for cooperation, initiative, dependability, ability to follow-up, creativity, accuracy, enthusiasm, interpersonal skills, knowledge and application of knowledge.

Each Shake-Up (service change), which happens three times per year, one Vehicle Maintenance employee is selected by their co-workers for the honor of "Employee of the Shake-Up" from each of seven transit bases and our Component Supply Center. At the end of the year, the Vehicle Maintenance Employee of the Year is selected based on a vote of fellow Vehicle Maintenance Employees of the Shake-up.

Use the left navigation bar (you may have to scroll down a bit to see the topic) to choose a year and see who the honoree was.
