What's included?

Each pass provides access for one year to:

• Unlimited bus service on all King County Metro Transit regular routes
• Unlimited access to Sound Transit Regional Express regular routes. [external link]
• Unlimited access to Sounder commuter rail service including Amtrak Rail Plus from Seattle to Edmonds and Everett. [external links]
• Unlimited access to the Seattle Streetcar [external links]
• Metro VanPool fare subsidy up to $75 per month
• Metro VanShare fare subsidy up to $35 per month
• Home Free Guarantee - up to eight emergency taxi rides per employee per year
• FlexPerks - special discount offers from participating merchants

How much does it cost?

The FlexPass cost varies by area boundaries. For additional assistance fill out the company information form or contact Employer Services by e-mail employer.program@kingcounty.gov or by phone 206-263-3444.

• A pass is purchased for every employee.
• Price includes an incentive off the full price
• Contract is renewed annually.

If you already subsidize transportation for some employees, compare your current budget for those employees to the cost of the FlexPass for all employees.

How do we renew a FlexPass?

The cost of a FlexPass program will usually increase at the annual renewal time depending on available incentives, transit fare increases and the overall increase in transit use in your area.

You will be contacted about renewing your FlexPass program 6-8 weeks prior to the end of your current agreement. Your Metro representative will review the renewal rates and other information with you to prepare a draft renewal contract. For further renewal information, please contact your Metro representative as shown in your FlexPass agreement.
