FlexPass - More than a Bus Pass

The FlexPass program is Metro's innovative answer to those employers that need to provide low-cost commute benefits for all employees. FlexPass offers simplified administration through an annual rather than monthly pass program and includes elements beyond the bus pass. The program is available to employees only through a participating employer.

Programs are available in all areas of King County for employers with 20-499 employees. In downtown Seattle and in downtown Bellevue, programs are available for employers with 5-499 employees.

What's included in a FlexPass?

This program is available for employers with 20-499 employees (see the Custom FlexPass section for larger employers). The price varies by area depending on the level of transit service and the package of commute benefits. The company buys FlexPass for all employees. For pricing information, see the FlexPass price chart. If you already subsidize transportation for some employees, we recommend that you compare your current budget to the cost of FlexPass.

• Unlimited bus service on all King County Metro Transit regular routes
• Unlimited access to Sound Transit Regional Express regular routes. [external link]

• Metro VanPool fare subsidy up to $75 per month
• Metro VanShare subsidy up to $20 per month
• Home Free Guarantee - up to eight emergency taxi rides per employee per year
