move it! How to ride the bus

Hop on, sit back, relax and enjoy the view

Get in step and ride.
Disco down to your closest bus stop, where you'll see the sign displaying route numbers of all buses stopping there. Know the approximate time your bus will arrive, and plan on being at the stop about 5 minutes early.

Boarding the bus.
Hop on and note the sign on the farebox for information about when and what to pay. If you're still not sure about how much and when to pay, step right up and ask your driver.

Enjoy the view!
Sit back, relax and enjoy the view while you ride Metro style.

You're there!
About a block before your destination, pull the cord above the window. The bell rings once on the first pull, alerting your driver that you would like the next stop.

Need to transfer?
When your travel requires riding a second bus, ask for a transfer when you pay your fare - it's free.

Transfers from Community Transit, Everett Transit, King County Metro, Pierce Transit and Sound Transit are universally accepted for each system's base fare.
