It's very 1999

Living in the Northwest, we wonder if Mount Rainier
will be Y2K compliant.
We hear the discreet concessions of monks
on Broadway, who wear sneakers.
We hope that our Honda Civics will one day be
retro.
We hope that there will always be hillsides covered in
blackberries.

Julie Rieg lives near Greenlake and has four cockatiels, two fish and two red-bellied newts names Linda.
