Raza

I want to talk about my people,
my barrio,
my dark sorrow,
temple for those who cry
and with their silent tears
weave nests in their hands.

Quiero hablar de mi raza,
mi barrio,
mi dolor moreno,
capilla de los que lloran
y con llanto silencioso
tenjen nidos en las manos.

Luis Bolanos. I was born and raised in Costa Rica but I now live in Redmond. I'm very concerned about the future of defenseless beings like whales and butterflies threatened by human greed.
