my brain-stem barista’s
forecasting partly cloudy
with a chance of entropy.

but I’m just playing.

splattering arcs of sunlight
with lawnmower delicacy.
spouting not-so small talk

to the plastic skeleton,

back and forth,
over and out,
to the great unknown.
