The Soul of Truth
The story goes: at birth we have two bodies. One is sheathed in skin and bone, sifted through sunlight and fog. A bag of waters, heart a little boat. The other, real as shadow, shimmers like a trout delving a mountain lake. The one that got away, rippling my reflection.

The Soul of Truth

The story goes: at birth
we have two bodies.
One is sheathed in skin and bone,
sifted through sunlight and fog. A bag
of waters, heart a little boat.

The other, real as shadow,
shimmers like a trout
delving a mountain lake.

The one that got away,
rippling my reflection.

David Gravender
