Fences, Neighbors, Rivers
Good neighbor, this fence won’t halt morning glories, wild blackberry vines.
This world confounds perfection. This river roils green in winter, outlasts stone.
Let vines take the fence or fence’s ruin. This river shapes our border, runs gray in blackberry time.
