Here we sit Motionless: The dreamy expression On a woman Filing her nails Her lover Still warm in bed And a pick-up crew Of Mexican men Green with the smell Of cut grass.
All of us pause As we hold one breath On this bridge.

Here we sit
Motionless:
The dreamy expression
On a woman
Filing her nails
Her lover
Still warm in bed

And a pick-up crew
Of Mexican men
Green with the smell
Of cut grass.
