Cloudy Reflections
Where does your shadow go when it rains? In the hole of a sand dollar sneaking free passage to sea? In mist that flies from your mouth or fog on your glasses? Is it in the clouds? Are they selfishly holding it - or generously hanging it for everyone to see?

Cloudy Reflections

Where does your shadow go
when it rains?
In the hole of a sand dollar
sneaking free passage to sea?
In mist that flies from your mouth

or fog on your glasses?
Is it in the clouds?
Are they selfishly holding it —
or generously hanging it
for everyone to see?

Shira Richman
