Voices of Heritage
Violent sea storm brews, Norwegian Vikings shout, "Be persistent!"
In 1943, A six-pointed Star of David, Whispers from a window, "Be brave."
Windows dimmed on Korean streets, Rebels working secretly, "Fight for freedom," a commoner cries.
Brave, persistent guardian, I am, Because my heritage speaks to me.
Anna Freedman, 6th Grade
