Bull Kelp
She is bull kelp long and thin with wild hair ambered by the sun, curled by the brine.
She dances at the shore on boulders shaped like shoulders of elephants. The barnacled skin smoothed by lapping tides.
Underfoot the rockweed crackles with applause.
