Poetry on Buses
4Culture and King County Metro Transit present Poetry on Buses. Since 1992, Poetry on Buses has been inspiring residents of King, Pierce, Kitsap and Snohomish Counties to write and reflect on a theme as a community. Browse poems from current and past years for a glimpse at the inner lives of this region's riders.
The next theme announcement and call for poetry will be in 2009.
Information about Poetry on Buses 2007
Thanks to all who submitted to Poetry on Buses 2007 Dreams. We received 3,000 poems this year (over twice the submissions received in 2005)! Look for the "Dreams" series on our buses and on Metro Online this November!
