Special Assistance Cards

A Metro advisory committee of visually impaired and deaf-blind transit users helped develop these cards, which are designed to help riders communicate information to the driver. Fill in the information on the details of your trip (what bus stop you want, whether you need to transfer, etc.) Give the card to the driver when you get on the bus; the driver will keep the card and return it to you when the bus reaches your stop.

There are two colors of Special Assistance Cards:

  • white for persons with vision disabilities;
  • yellow for persons with vision and hearing disabilities.

The cards are available at no charge from Metro's Customer Service Office.
