Route 21
May 31 thru Sept. 19, 2008

Weekday Saturday Sunday Route Map

During periods of ice and snow, Route 21 cannot operate its regular route to Arbor Heights. Instead, buses will loop between SW Barton St and SW Roxbury St via 26th Ave SW. If possible, a chained shuttle will be provided to serve the Arbor Heights loop.

Service will operate on Fauntleroy Way SW rather than SW Avalon Way between 35th Ave SW and SW Spokane St if SW Avalon Way is closed. During periods of very heavy snow and ice, service on Route 21 could be severely disrupted.

Please plan accordingly. Metro offers the following resources to update you on transit service: Metro Rider Information, 206-553-3000, Bus Time, 206-287-8463, and, Metro Online. Also, listen to local radio stations for reports of traffic and road conditions. Adverse weather results in a high number of calls to Metro's Rider Information Office, so you may experience an extended on-hold waiting period or receive a busy signal. We'll do our best to serve you, but we appreciate your patience when adverse weather impacts Metro service.
