Metro’s Visitor Pass

Waterfront

Excite the senses with the bustling scene of bright lights and colorful banners, clanging bells on restored streetcars, large parks overlooking passing ships, ferry horns echoing off downtown skyscrapers, enticing aromas of salmon, crab and sourdough bread. Hop aboard the colorful waterfront streetcar.

Seattle Aquarium

Omnidome Theatre
Huge screen thrills with hang-on-to-your seat entertainment.

Washington State Ferries
Set sail across Puget Sound for Bremerton (one-hour crossing) or Bainbridge Island (30 minutes). (Additional fare required, see WSF web site. [external link])

George Benson Waterfront Streetcar
See the sights on the most authentic, fun-filled trolley ride this side of San Franciso. (Bus fares apply or use your Visitor Pass.) Route 99

Water Taxi
The Elliott Bay Water Taxi is a fun, quick way to get out on the water and see another side of the city. With a cruising time of only 8 minutes, the Water Taxi connects downtown Seattle with West Seattle and a variety of onshore destinations. (Bus fares apply, or use your Visitor Pass).

Chinatown/International District

A blend of many Asian cultures in one compact community. Shops display signs in many languages, restaurants offer specialities such as sushi, dim sum, bulgogi and pho from their wealth of cuisine. Colorful pagodas, sculpted dragons, and restful parks welcome you. Take the bus or streetcar.

The northwest's largest Asian superstore.

Wing Luke Asian Museum
The country's only museum devoted to recounting Asian American history.

Capitol Hill

Seattle's headquarters for trendy alternative boutiques and funky street culture. A 24-hour street scene and home to the city's gay community, grunge rockers and twenty-somethings. North of Volunteer Park (Lake View Cemetery) are the grave sites of many Seattle pioneers as well as Bruce and Brandon Lee.
