Metro seeking public comment on new design for bus stop signs

photo of new sign

King County Metro is seeking public comment on a new design for bus stop signs. The signs are installed until May 8 on Third Avenue in downtown Seattle, near the southbound bus stop at Union Street, next to Benaroya Hall.

If you have seen the temporary signs, and you would like to take part in our survey [external link], we would appreciate it.

Metro Transit is testing these signs as part of a multiyear program to invest in an up-to-date design for all passenger facility signs. During this program, Metro plans to replace its 18-year-old signage system, beginning in 2009 with signs at bus stops.
