|
Transit Service Change
Transit service changes begin Saturday, February 6, 1999 in King County. This service change is one of three revisions Metro makes each year to improve service, respond to customer needs and implement King Countys Six-Year Transit Development Plan.
For assistance with planning your trip and making connections, call the 24-hour Rider Information Office at 206-553-3000.
New Red Timetables
Be sure to pick up a new red timetable and check for schedule changes on the route you normally take. Because all schedule changes are too numerous to include here, please consult your timetable to see if your route has been affected by any time changes or other adjustments. Please help conserve paper by taking only the timetables you need or by using these other information options:

- Rider Information 206-553-3000

Holiday Service
On President's Day, Monday, February 15, and Memorial Day, Monday, May 31, most Metro buses will operate on a Sunday/holiday schedule. On President's Day, the following routes will operate supplemental service, indicated by the letter "H" on the weekday portion of the timetable:
7E, 15E, 101, 150, 174, 194, 214, 242, 263, 307, 312, 340, 941, 942, 943.
All buses may not be equipped with wheelchair lift
Metro anticipated all buses would be equipped with a wheelchair lift by February 1999. However, the delivery of new buses has been delayed. Some of the trips indicated in your new red paper timetables won't be accessible until the new buses are available. Accessible trips indicated in the green timetables effective until February 5, 1999, will continue to be accessible. Metro Online has deleted the "L" indicator on those timetables affected for the February service change. Please call Rider Information at 206-553-3000, Bus Time 206-287-8463 or use Metro Online for more information.
New service information will be available in Metro Online by close of business Friday, February 5, 1999.
