New ST Service Replaces Eastside Metro Routes 263, 267, 275 and 276
New ST routes 540, 545, 546 and new Metro Route 277 will replace portions of routes 263, 267, 275 and 276 starting Monday, September 18. ST routes 540, 545 and 546 have a different fare structure than Metro Service. Please pick up a new ST timetable for fare information.
Here are the changes to Eastside service:
New Bus Service
Route 277 (See Route 277 map)
- New route operating weekdays between the University District, Kingsgate and Houghton park-and-ride lots.
- Operates weekdays from 6-9 a.m. and 3-6 p.m.
- Replaces portions of routes 275 and 276.
Changed Bus Service
Route 230
- Serves S. Kirkland park-and-ride providing transfer connections to and from the University District and downtown Seattle.
Route 254
- Operates between the Redmond and Kirkland transit centers. For service to Seattle, use routes 251 or 255 leaving Kirkland Transit Center Bay 3.
- Service between downtown Seattle and Redmond and Kirkland replaced by new ST routes 545 and 546. Please pick up a new ST timetable available at most Metro timetable locations.
- New service along N.E. 116th St. on Education Hill
Route 263
- Replaced by new ST Route 546 that operates between the Redmond park-and-ride and downtown Seattle. Metro Route 291 will provide service between the Redmond park-and-ride and the Willows Rd. area.
Route 267
- Replaced by new ST Route 545 that operates between the Redmond park-and-ride and downtown Seattle via 4th and 5th avenues. Please pick up a new ST timetable available at most Metro timetable locations for details.
- Route 254 replaces portions of route serving Education Hill and N.E. 116th St. in Redmond
Route 275
- Replaced by new Metro Route 277 and ST Route 540. For service between the U-District, Kingsgate and Juanita, use new Route 277. For service between Kirkland and the U-District, use new ST route 540.
Route 276
- Replaced by new Metro Route 277 and ST Route 540. For service between the U-District and Houghton, use new Route 277. For service between Redmond and the U-District, use new ST route 540.
Route 291
- Provides regular bus service in Redmond Town Center.
