2004 changes in route numbers

The following route numbers will be discontinued and service replaced as described below: Routes 20, 130, 130-Express, 132-Express, 135, 136, 136-Express, 137, 137-Express. See the map.

The following table shows replacement services:

New Rt 120 replaces Rt 20 between downtown Seattle and White Center; new Rt 125 replaces Route 20 between White Center and Shorewood.

Service will operate in the peak direction only. For additional service along E Marginal Way S, ride Route 121 or 122.

Service will no longer operate between First Ave S/SW 112 St and Olson-Myers P&R.

130 Express

Peak service will operate in both directions; midday and reverse peak (AM southbound and PM northbound) trips will operate only between Burien and Seattle.

Routing in SODO will operate via Atlantic St. instead of Main St.

Service will operate during weekday peak hours and in the peak direction only (northbound in the morning, southbound in the afternoon).

New Rt 23 replaces Rt 136 between downtown Seattle, Highland Park, and White Center; new Rt 120 replaces Rt 136 between White Center and Burien. Rt 139 will start earlier, around 4:45 a.m., to replace early morning trips on Route 136 between Gregory Heights and the Burien Transit Center/P&R.

136 Express

120, 123, 139

New Rt 120 will replace Rt 136-Express between Burien and White Center. New Rt 123 will replace Rt 136-Express between Gregory Heights and Burien Transit Center/P&R. Rt 139 will start earlier, around 4:45 a.m. to replace early morning trips on Route 136-Express between Gregory Heights and Burien Transit Center/P&R.

23, 123, 134, 139

New Rt 23 replaces Rt 137 between downtown Seattle, Highland Park, and White Center; new Rt 123 replaces Rt 137 and Rt 137-Express between Gregory Heights and downtown Seattle via the Burien Transit Center/P&R and SR-509. New Rt 134 replaces Rt 137 between Burien Transit Center/P&R and Park Lake (4 Av SW/SW Roxbury St). Rt 139 will start earlier, around 4:45 a.m., to replace early morning trips on Route 137 between Gregory Heights and Burien Transit Center/P&R.

137 Express

123, 139

New Rt 123 replaces Rt 137-Express between Gregory Heights, Burien Transit Center/P&R, SODO, and downtown Seattle. Rt 139 will start earlier, around 4:45 a.m., to replace early morning trips on Route 137-Express between Gregory Heights and Burien Transit Center/P&R.
