Bellevue-Redmond RapidRide Proposed Route and Stops
Two alternative routes are being considered in the Overlake area between NE 24th Street and NE 31st Street.
One option is to have RapidRide continue straight along 156th Avenue NE. The other option is to have the route jog to the west and travel along 152nd Avenue NE between 24th and 31st.
The 152nd Avenue NE option would place a RapidRide station closer to the center of Redmond’s planned Overlake Urban Village. It would add one or two minutes to RapidRide travel time for through riders.
The 156th Avenue NE option would be faster for through riders. It would add a walk of about five minutes for riders moving between Overlake Urban Village and a RapidRide stop on 156th.
